This last weekend was our 4th visit to this park. This is a great campground! The staff is as nice as can be. The tubing, kayaking, canoeing, part of their business is done very well. From registering, pick up and drop off, they make it easy. The owners/management: I believe have created a great environment for a great time. The registration paperwork clearly states campground rules regarding quiet times and pets. It's unfortunate that some people drink so much beer that they forget how to tell time and can't understand why everyone in the campground wouldn't want a visit from their dog. We will be back anyway. The pleasure this place offers, outweighs the pain of listening to some babbling idiot's till 3 in the morning.

We called about reservations a few days ahead. They told us just to show up 30 minutes before we wanted to get on the river. However, they forgot to tell us that they aren't open on Tuesdays, which is the day we drove 2 1/2 hours to get there! But.......Danielle and Alexis contacted the manager, and long story short, Shane came and picked us up, took us up river, unloaded the canoes, and we were on our way. Had a great time, thanks to this awesome group of "kids" that went out of their way to please us! We will return!!!
Our group has been using River Country for over 10 years, there location works for us, however ovee the years the staff and owners are less than inviting. This year they singled out one of our friends who decided to attend last minute as though they couldn't rent to her because she didn't have a reservation, and there was a deadline for group changes even though she was there n time and had been waiting patiently to be served by the unorganized staff. both owners were there and responded that they didn't want our future business! As many other reviews mention great location terrible owners!
